Another goose and another beaver house. We live in an area with a lot of small sloughs and most do have a beaver house in them.
Thanks for the comments on yesterday's dandelion meadow. It was actually the ditch between our property and the road. The dandelions grow so fast we don't worry about them. Eventually they quit blooming, giving us a nice look green lawn.

on May 30, 2022I imagine the beaver houses offer a nice raised location for the nesting geese. I recall seeing Canada Goose nest on raised areas one time in northern California--I didn't realize they may have been beaver houses.
