Locks at Lovelock, Nevada
Very sorry if I don't comment on some of your photos, but your current dailies are sometimes very hard to find and if they're not dated, it's difficult to know if the photo showing is current or from years ago.

Speaking to your concern over finding people's current photos, Judy (fotoeffects) includes a list of links in the caption of each of her own daily's. I have a similar list of links in a photo that resides in my own gallery of each day's uploads (https://arctangent.smugmug.com/All-Recent-Uploads/Days-uploads-the-current-day-only/i-gkVcFwL) which you can bookmark to make it easy to find.
I would also add that most of us appreciate comments to older photos, too, even if they don't appear in the day's 'Popular Home' pages on smugmug. I've noticed that photos of mine that get comments, but don't 'show up' still get a big boost in the number of views. Don't ask me how, or why. I can't explain it. The point is, such comments are not useless. They don't disappear into some black hole.

on October 17, 2018Nice close-up of the "Locks of Love." Do you know the meaning or origin? Well, at times, my curiosity gets the best of me and I will want to know the "what to the why." LOL!
I Googled and discovered........" Love padlocks (also known as Love Locks) are a custom by which padlocks are affixed to a fence, gate, bridge or similar public fixture by sweethearts to symbolize their everlasting love. Love padlocks have existed for quite some time, though there are no certain sources for their origin. In Europe, love padlocks started appearing in the early 2000s. The reasons love padlocks started to appear vary between locations, and in many instances are unsourced. However, in Rome, the ritual of affixing love padlocks to the bridge Ponte Milvio can be attributed to the book I Want You by Italian author Frederico Moccia, who later made it into the film-adaptation Hovoglia dite. It has been said that if both members of “love’s hand” are not present as the lock locks, the love has been forever jinxed." – Wikipedia
