Nothing share worthy came out of my camera yesterday, so this is a photo I took on vacation of the metro station in DC. I've applied the Orton process to it and am thinking of entering this in the Dgrin challenge.

on September 16, 2011I really like the glow of light on that arched ceiling. I bet it was cool to stand in that 'room'. I 'feel' the Orton pp. There's just the right softness to the light.
Did you notice my butterfly today had Orton done to it? I use CoffeeShop Blog action. I had an even less sharp version here: http://fotomom.smugmug.com/Nature/September-2011/18827553_CmnN58#1481346819_9QXKj2Q I'm sure what I did to today's daily...sharpening an Orton pp'ed image was unconventional.
Since you are considering this shot as a dgrin entry, and I do like it!, I would see if you can brighten the red coat/person just a tad. I don't know if it would look 'better' or not, but I think it's worth consideration.
