This Victoria Day long weekend was the opening of the Ukrainian Village. This gentleman is the telegraph operator at the train station. You can write out a message and he sends it by telegraph. He was sitting in front of an east facing window and looking at the papers on his left. His right hand is operating the telegraph.
Tomorrow I'll show you what happens with the message at the other end.
