A person, event or something that is part of my daily life. Some days it will be a new photo taken and some days it will be a photo new processed. Not always a work of art, but part of my life. Started the dailies in Sept 2009.

073 Mar 13/12 The sky from yesterday morning. The Northern Lights early yesterday morning were the best I've seen in years. I got in 45 minutes of shooting before it was time to get ready for work and out of 47 pictures I probably like 40, so processing is going to take a few nights. I didn't even have to leave the yard for these as they were above the tree line. This one is the sky straight above. More of this view can be seen here http://www.wildelifephotography.com/Events/Aurora-Borealis/Aurora-Borealis-March-12-2012/21916621_GKT3G5#!i=1747902089&k=dXNTPxD
072 Mar 12/12 A few hundred feet away from where I take my Aurora pictures a kite skiing/boarding group was having a meet. Apparently the winds were not good enough for great jumps but good enough for me to get a few shots.

Thanks for the comments about the picnic tables. I think the reason they are stacked like this is so the snow and ice does not accumulate on the tops and help rot the wood. During a "normal" winter these tables would be sitting in snow a couple of feet deep at this time of year.
071 Mar 11/12 We took a little drive south of our house scouting for a new location for Aurora photos and ended up at a campground at Joseph Lake. The skies and the sun made it look like a perfect summer day, but the snow kept us from staying on the beach to long.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments on yesterday's Aurora photo. It ended up being explored on Flickr and ended up in the 48th spot.
070 Mar 10/12 Northern Lights at the lake. The past few days, we've been getting great Aurora activity in the skies, but it's been so cloudy, nothing could be seen. Yesterday the clouds cleared up and we got a little activity. I throw out the rules of photography on this one, like the rule of thirds and decided to try a portrait view of a landscape.
069 Mar 9/12 Abstract Friday with a lamp from the 70"s.
068 Mar 8/12 A little plant adding some color to my new office. Thanks to Kate for bringing this in for me.

Thanks to everyone for the overwhelming response to my flower yesterday.

066 Mar 6/12 We've had a little bit of snow here and the skies have been grey. This was the view on the drive into work.
065 Mar 5/12 Yesterday while eating lunch at the food court at a mall I noticed the angle I was looking at, a sculpture/mall decoration seemed to intersect with the ceiling. Added a couple of textures to it, pp in photoshop and inverted it to get this.
